There are several ways you can purchase a registered copy of NoteTab:

1.	If you own a credit card, the fastest method is to order on-line through a secure server. It takes just a few minutes to fill in the order form and for your credit card information to be processed before you reach the download link.

2.	Order by phone or fax with your credit card, and download from the Internet.

3.	If you prefer to pay by check or money order, you can purchase your registered copy from the NoteTab agent in the USA.

4.	You can also pay the author directly by sending cash in an envelope or transferring your payment to his postal account in Switzerland.

Note that customer information is considered confidential and will not be shared or distributed to any third party.

Please use the Check for Updates feature, or visit the NoteTab Web site, or write to sales@fookes.com to find out if a new update is available and to check its pricing.

Purchase Orders for Site licenses

Purchase orders (net 30 days) are accepted from government and accredited educational institutions and major corporations, provided that they are submitted on purchase order forms with a purchase order number. A $10.00 processing fee will be added to the total. Please be sure to include a contact E-mail address with your purchase order. You can send the Purchase Order to us by fax or snail mail. Since we will be moving to a new address during 2003, please check our Contact page on the Web to see our current snail mail address and fax number.

Upgrade Policy

Minor updates and maintenance releases are free for users of the corresponding major version. In other words, if you purchased NoteTab Pro v4.00, all updates up to v4.99 inclusive are available for free. Major upgrades (version 5.*, 6.*, etc.) are available to registered users of previous versions at a 50% discount. However, the upgrade is free for those who purchased the corresponding version of NoteTab 120 days prior to the release of a major upgrade.


Secure On-line Ordering

The "Place Order" area is secured using state-of-the-art Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, which means that no one can intercept transmissions to or from the server. All orders are delivered electronically – right to your computer. After the purchase approval process, you will be given a link to download your new software. Are you concerned about downloading your new software? No need to worry! During your download, if you experience problems such as a dropped connection or a system crash, you will be able to re-initiate your download by going to the customer service page. Note that if you are using NoteTab Light or the trial version of NoteTab Pro, you can also order the software by choosing the "Ordering Information" command from the Help menu.


Order by Phone or Fax

If you prefer, you can order NoteTab from RegNow by sending your credit card number by phone or fax (instead of sending it over the Internet). You will need to provide the following information:

·	Product you want to order (NoteTab Pro or NoteTab Std)

·	Your full name

·	Your full address w/ postal code and country (should match the credit card address)

·	Your full phone number

·	Your e-mail address

·	Your credit card information (card type, number, validity)

·	Your signature – if you send this information by fax

Then, once your order has been received and the credit card information processed, you will get a receipt and a download link together with registration information by e-mail.

Pay by Check or Money Order

Send your check or money order, payable to Eric G.V. Fookes, along with the name of the product(s) you are ordering (NoteTab Std or NoteTab Pro), and your e-mail address so the official NoteTab agent in the USA can send you the appropriate download information. Payments must be in US dollars drawn on a US bank, or you can send international postal money orders in US dollars.

Once your order has been processed, your registration information will be e-mailed to you together with a download link to the commercial version of NoteTab. You can also order NoteTab on a CD-ROM if you do not have access to the Internet, or prefer to receive your registered software by mail; please see the Order.txt form for details.

Please do not forget to send your e-mail address! If you cannot accept downloads or e-mail attachments, you will have to adjust the cost of the program to include the CD-ROM and any handling costs.


Pay the Author Directly

If you like, you can also purchase NoteTab directly from the author. Send your payment in cash (in US Dollars, Euros, Swiss Francs, or Pounds Sterling) to our office in Switzerland. Since we will be moving to a new address during 2003, please check our Contact page on the Web to see our current snail mail address and fax number or write to us at sales@fookes.com.

If you live in Europe, you can also pay directly to the following Swiss postal account: CCP 12-51699-7, Geneva. Please also send an e-mail message to sales@fookes.com to inform us that you have paid this way (often, statements from the post-office or bank contain incomplete information and we cannot fulfill such orders unless we have your e-mail address).

Use registered mail for your cash if you feel it is safer; most customers do not bother though, and no one has lost their payment through the post so far. You can also transfer your payment to the post-office account indicated above. Please include a note to indicate which software title you want (NoteTab Pro or Std) and your E-mail address; see the Order.txt form for details. Once your payment arrives, you will receive a download link to the commercial version and a key to unlock the installation program.

Due to high processing costs, please do not send a check unless you plan to purchase at least three licenses of the software. Please add $5.00 USD if you want to pay by check. If you need the software on CD-ROM, please order through our agent in the USA (see above).
